Using Emotive Language To Persuade The Audience.

Purpose:

To be able to identify and use persuasive language.

Activity 1

You have two -four min to persuade me that your music group or sports team is the best.

Name of sports team: Miami Heat

My favourite sports team in NBA is Miami Heat because they have Lebron James and he is beating all of Michael Jordans top high scores in NBA world championships. He can shoot a three pointer basket from half way as well as all the way from the other hoop. He is literally the best basketball player in the world. Lebron James is also the best slam dunker.

Kia ora and welcome to my blog. My name is Darius, I am a year 8 student at Tautoro school in room 6. My teacher Miss Simeon sometimes she is grumpy but she is still cool awesome and my favorite teacher. I like playing ps3 games like red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty - Black Ops 1,2, and The Last of Us. My favorite rapper is Eminem and 50cent. I like listening to Dubstep, Skrillex, Trap Music, dj Noize, remixes and music. My favourite subjects are writing, reading and working on chromebooks. My favourite sport is handball and basketball. When I am not at school I just stay home and do nothing interesting at all, which is so boring.

I have four siblings I have one older sister Ashley, she is 14. I also have a little cheeky annoying brother Kahn and he is 6 yrs old but he acts like a 2 yr old. My littlest brothers Hunter and Kaelyb are 9 months old. Kaelyb weighs 14kgs and Hunter weighs 12kgs.

My mum’s name is Christine and she is 34. My brothers, sister and I forgot Mother’s Day, we didn't say ‘Happy Mother’s Day till the end of the day, so I got nothing for my Birthday because I forgot to say Happy Mother’s Day but what's not fare is that my brother got everything for his birthday. I don't spend much time with my dad because he is on holiday and I don’t get to see him much.
