A Brief Analysis of my Reading.

Reading Analysis
WALT: make a snap shot of my reading ability using the National Standards learning progressions.

This week we videoed ourselves reading an extract from Bridge to Terabithia. We had to watch ourselves and notice what challenges we faced when reading at 13-14 years.  We had to choose 4 challenges that stood out the most. Then we had to think how we were going to make changes to our reading, by setting goals.

The Challenges I Face In Reading Are:
  • Not to sound like a robot and sound so boring.
  • Not just focus on one word
  • To read faster, and with expression
  • To read with fluency.
  • Be confident.

The Goals That I Will Focus On In Term 4, So To Help Me Become A Better Reader Are:

  • To read and understand the reading.
  • Read more at home.
  • Try not to muck up my reading.
  • Make the audience interested.

  3. Hey Darius, Its Ronaldo here.
I really like your emphases that you use in your reading, and also I like your fluency, so amazed. You can tell that you have practice reading, and that's a good thing! So last but not least just keep on reading and learn better so that you can build up your strength in learning, so good luck!
